Harold E. Rushton

Harold E. Rushton is a highly strategic  attorney who provides caring but zealous representation for his clients.  He focuses on family law, orders of protection, divorce, child custody, construction and contract law.

Harold began his career in the law as a police officer in Athens, Alabama in 1988 and later served as a Criminal Investigator for the District Attorney’s office in Jones County, Mississippi.   He spent his final ten years in law enforcement serving as an Alabama State Trooper with the Alabama Department of Public Safety.

As a State Trooper, Harold was certified as a Traffic Homicide Investigator and Accident Reconstructionist.  He also received awards for leading the State and Quad Cities Trooper Post in DUI arrests four years in a row and was awarded a Citation for Outstanding Performance during a hostage situation as a Tactical Operations Team Member.   Harold still holds the record for the most DUI arrests in Quad Cities Trooper Post in a single year.

Harold received his Doctor of Jurisprudence from the Nashville School of Law and is licensed to practice in all Tennessee state courts and the United States District Court for the Middle District of Tennessee.  He represents clients in Nashville, Davidson County and the surrounding counties.
