Originally from Knoxville, Tennessee, Britni attended Berry College and ultimately received her undergraduate degree from the University of Tennessee. Britni graduated from Belmont University College of Law in Nashville, Tennessee where she interned for the Honorable Norma McGee Ogle of the Tennessee Court of Criminal Appeals and was a law clerk in the Medicaid Fraud and Integrity Division of the Tennessee Attorney General’s office.
After law school, Britni built her practice and reputation as a fierce litigator in Nashville. While initially maintaining a diverse practice, Britni has focused on family law where she feels she can have the most impact helping families successfully navigate challenging situations. Her practice includes juvenile court, parenting plans, child support, alimony, divorce, separation, and pre-nuptial agreements.
Britni is a member of the Tennessee Bar Association, the Nashville Bar Association, the Tennessee Lawyers’ Association for Women, and the United States District Court for the Middle District of Tennessee.
After working with us on various cases in 2019, Britni joined The Rushton Law Firm, PLLC full time in 2020. Britni is an active member of her church and enjoys visiting with family, volunteering, practicing barre, kickboxing, and hiking with her two rescue dogs.
